Mirrors fold instantly with CA?

I just had my car coded yesterday and when I lock with the fob the mirrors fold instantly however if I lock with CA I have to hold my finger on the door handle. Unlocking is instant with the fob or CA. Is this normal?

It should only take about 1 second. double check FEM_BODY > 3053 KOMFORT_SCHLIESSEN Werte is set to 00. Mine was about 4-5 seconds until i changed that.

I lock with key fob in hand now so I can retaliate when someone keeps chirping a million times to be annoying or to flex when someone drives by and I've walked away already so I can time the flashes to go off more precisely.

I didn't code it myself I had someone code it for me. If i just tap the CA the doors will lock but the mirrors won't fold. If I keep my finger on the CA for another second they will. Is that how yours is?

Code CA with a delay of 0 and it will instantly fold with the finger once the doors lock.

Do you have to hold your finger on the CA for a second or no?

There is a section where you can code the amount of delay from the time you touch the CA lock, until the mirrors fold. The default is not 0 - which is what you're experiencing. Maybe you can ask the person who coded it for you to code it the value to 0.

I would also suggest getting the BimmerCode app for your smartphone ($25) and a wifi or bluetooth OBSD reader (another $20-25) and you can code your car whenever you want!

Not sure if anyones noticed this but when I lock with the fob the mirrors fold instantly however it sounds like the windows are trying to close even though they're already closed. If I leave the windows open they go up slightly. Is this normal? Could this cause issues with the window motors if they're trying to close even though they're closed already?

Don’t worry.
All normal, it won’t harm the motors of your windows.
