Datalog...What's Wrong?

E90 Experts – 2011 335i n55 that my tuner and I are trying to tune. Nothing crazy, just looking for a nice, safe power gain with reliability. The car has a VRSF 5” stepped intercooler and upgraded charge pipe.

The log referenced below is based on the Cobb 1+ and is on Rev 1 from the tuner (91 octane). The tuner thinks I have a leak based on the fact that boost builds initially, then drops off, then builds again before tapering as normal. I have been through all connections twice and replaced the CP-to-throttle body o-ring. I also have a boost solenoid on order, in case that’s the culprit. Any suggestions from folks who have been doing this longer than I have? Anything else look particularly wrong with the log? Thanks for the assistance!

UPDATE: Replaced the boost solenoid last night and accomplished a short pull to 4k rpm since, during the last log, boost had recovered to ~15 psi by then...and it was even worse! Boost never got above 9! I just don't understand it - the car pulls hard and feels good. Has anyone ever heard of the boost pressure sensor in the CP going bad or reporting bad pressure data? The car is not throwing any codes at all. Suggestions?

UPDATE: Well folks, problem solved! Put a brand new boost pressure sensor in and logged it - rock solid 16 psi again! So, if anyone ever has boost that's not hitting target and are sure there are no leaks, try the pressure sensor.

If he means boost solenoid, then its the sensor on turbo side of engine. Near the valve cover with a metal clip that you push in. A lot of heat shields in that area

Do you have a picture of the correct way to route the 3 lines? I always mix them up

Never actually did it sorry I just researched a lot about it because I thought I had a problem with mine but they turned out to be fine. You could probably find a pic around the forums though

Yep, when I pulled the old one out, it had quite the coating of oil on it. I wonder if this caused it to read incorrectly...
