New to me. 06 330xi.
Hello
I have been reading this forum and a few others for a bit but finally joined since I just bought an 06 330xi. I am stepping out of an 05 Mustang GT Vert (summer) and 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee (winter). I needed to simplify and get an all around vehicle. I narrowed it down to the 3. I got a great deal on the 330 and it is mint. A few questions. The car has the cold weather and premium package. It has the 17" with run flats. What did the 06 18" sport package wheels look like? Does the sport suspension really warrant the upgrade over the standard? Is there a way to add the adaptive cruise control to the car? Thanks in advance. |

Welcome to the forum. No sport suspension with xi models. The 18's are style 162. Just search "style 162" and you can see what they look like. However BMW has a few 18" rims that can go on the xi. I just got style 216.

I think any rims can go with xi, you just have to make sure that the tire's rolling diameters are close?

i don't think that you can get adaptive cruise after, because they'd have to drill into the bumper to put the sensors, and probably take 34 days to reprogram the ecu haha

Here are my 162's
I love these wheels but sometimes its just nice to have 17's lol. Much cheaper tires, and non staggard.

I have a 330xi with Sports Pkg and it came with 162s. I love the 162s and think they look amazing. Not sure if I'll keep them on over the winter or switch to a 17 inch wheel during the cold, snowy months.
