Premium package a waste or do you guys like it??
Ordering up a 09' Alpine White/Coral red for lease soon and unsure if the extra $800 for the PP aside from the leather is worth it?? No real need for the blue tooth just not my thing.... so aside from that lumbar support that i'll set once and self fimming mirrors?? Do I need it?? Opinions would be appreciated....

Premium is the most important option to get the car with after sport package. BMW Assist, Leather, Homelink, Bluetooth, etc. Totally worth it.

A lot of the premium options can be selected individually. Much better imo. Just get what you want without paying for any extra extras.
Never got the premium package on any of my cars, just the sports package. I individually selected the options I wanted on the 3 and the 5 |

What option in the premium package would you not want?

If you ever want to unload the car, cars without ZPP move a lot slower. I wasn't willing to consider cars without it when I bought mine (glad I didn't, too, bt rocks). Exhibit A: http://seattle.craigslist.org/oly/car/708166204.html. This guy's been trying to sell what looks like a pretty cherry 2006 330i for months. As time has progressed, his ad has gotten more verbose. I verified with him by voice that it didn't have the package and moved on. Think a lot of people have.

I only got PP becuase it was the only car that meet all my other specs. I didnt really want it, and if i had ordered, i was ready to go with out it. Boy would that have been a big mistake.
The leather is a given, but i really like having bluetooth. I thought it wasnt my thing either, buti use it almost everytime im in the car.

Its worth it especially because of the bluetooth. Since the law for cell phones in California is going to be enforced starting July.

FWIW, I love the bluetooth option.
I was planning on ordering an '07 w/o BT but it came in by default with my '08. I was kinda like WTF initially, but after using it a few times, I loved it and was greatful that I got it. Just my 2cents though.

If you're going to get the leather anyways you should totally just get ZPP.
I need the bluetooth myself. Living in California there will be no phone use without a hands-free device. |

Getting ZPP is a personal choice from the sound of the posts so far. I think it is worth it and agree with the others it is good for resale.

like it. BMW Assist is great and the bluetooth option isnt half bad.. better than most cars, its right under the the sports package IMO, the leather and the lumbar support is amazing, my back doesn't ache after long drives after I started using the lumbar support.
