Increased boost after tune?

So I got myself the BimmerLink app and started looking at a few values. I noticed that the maximum boost of my engine is 1.5 bar

Isn't this the maximum boost level with stock map as well?

Or does the diesel tunes only increase fuel pressure and amount?

Info:
14' F30 N47T 318D supposed to have 197hk after tune!

Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure what the stock boost on your 318d is, but on the 328d it's 26 PSI ~ 1.79 bar. With the stage 2 tune I got it increased that to 28 PSI ~1.93 bar. So, yes a tune for diesels can include higher boost.
