335i convertible cargo mat
I have been trying to locate a cargo mat for my e93. The accessory page on the BMW web site shows one but doesn't have the part number. The parts department at my dealer could not find it. Has anyone found one? Thanks RDS

They had one release awhile back but was withdrawn after reports of fitment problems. There hasn't been a replacement as far as I know. Wait a bit longer and may be WeatherTech / McNeil Mat will come up with one some day.

I had a trunk mat for my 2008 E93 made at www.GGBailey.com for $65.00 plus S&H. Fits and looks perfect. They have a free shipping special for Father's Day.

That's the truth. I thought my M3 vert had little space. Boy was I when the salesmen showed me the "trunk"...

If you get comfort access you can actually get access to and use the front portion of the trunk while the top is down. It is big enough holds two airline carry on baggages. Anything else have to go to the back seat.

Cocomats
....I had Jeff @ www.cocomats.com custom make Black & Natural Dots front and rear floormats with the matching trunk liner for my E93...at the time of my April 2007 order, Jeff did not have an E93 template so he sent me a large sheet of paper for me to trace a trunk mat outline...my dealer had one of his techs pull out the OEM trunk liner from the E93 (328i) that had just arrived and was being prepped for the showroom...Jeff made the mat precise to the tech's drawing and, although it looks great and serves its purpose quite well, the tech's sketch very slightly lacked Jeff's standard of exact precision...perhaps a bit pricey a liner for a trunk that holds next to nothing but a nice finishing touch nonetheless...might be worth a look.......

Divots, can you tell me how much you paid and post up any pics of it?
Do you think the cocomats might eventually start to give off fibres? Don't know if it feels / acts like a doormat... |

What do you guys think I should get? Here are some alternatives seeing that there's no OEM mat.
What would you get? Carpet or Rubber Carpet: GGBailey seems like a quality product and $65 is a good price. Rubber: There's two that AutoSport sells (they also sell carpet ones too, I suppose): HEXOMAT - Seems like a winner to me, no? Or: CLEAR MAT - Won't protect against spills though from what I can tell. |
