Hello
I've been looking around here for a while and I think it's finally time I say hello. Thanks to you guys I did a fair amount of research before ordering the car and while waiting for it. Thanks in advance for such a great site.
It's probably easier to list the options she doesn't have which are active stearing, parking sensors and Satelite radio. Everything else is here. I have made a few mods, I'll post those in a bit. Enough said, let's get to the pictures. Sorry for the ones with the bugs. I just took some quick shots and I had gone out the night before. Got love the North East in the spring. The first one is what BMW sent me as a welcome gift I guess. |

Looks great!
Which wood trim is that - is it the light poplar? It looks sharp with the saddle.

I think he might be using a power washer with a foam gun attachment, maybe one of the detailers can chime in

Thanks everyone
Thanks for all of the kind words, I appreciate it.
That is the light poplar trim. Yes, I use a foam gun, another tip I got in the detailing forum here. It works awsome. That and a CRspotless machine and washing my cars is a joy. The car has been absolutely perfect so far. |

Do you need anything special for the foam gun? Or will a regular hose work?

There are both types of foam guns. The one I use does require a pressure washer, I had one so it was no big deal. There are other types that work with a hose. I believe the general concensus is that the ones that require a pressure washer work better. You can visit the wash, wax and detailing forum for more info. |

I hope so. I actually just purchased it two days ago and it's been raining here so I haven't had a chance to give it a shot. I'll post again as soon as I try it.
From what I've read people are happy with it, I believe it stops the small amount of wind that comes from the back of the car when traveling at highway speeds. |
