5-series wheels on E90

Hi guys,

I would like to put the 5-serie wheels (wheel picture) on my E90. They are both offset 20. The dealer said that it would be too large, but I've seen guys on this forum that have a much more aggresive setup.

Thx for the advise.
P.

Those are M5 rims if they are OEM. I highly doubt they will fit a stock E90...

That's my point, they are not as wide/offset as some setups here on the board. I think they would fit.

You need to get the E90 offsets for those rims. I just bought a set from from my local Discount Tire for $650. They special ordered them directly from ALT who makes them.

Here are the specs you'll want...

Front: 18x8 38mm offset (235/40/R18 tire)
Rear: 18x9 25mm offset (265/35/R18 tire)

You can also go for 19's if you wish, but I'd recommend sticking with the 18's. The 19's cost more, weigh more (like 5lbs a wheel!) and the 18's already look big enough because they have the spokes that go all the way out to the edge of the wheels.

Here is the manufacturer's website:
http://www.altwheels.com/products/pr...=47&pg=2&cid=1

I'm not sure if you can buy direct, but if you go to your local discount tire, they can get them for you for around $650 for the set. If they give you any trouble have them call the Manager of the Discount Tire that I dealt with in Houston. His name is Billy and he can be reached at: (281) 558-4406

Good luck and congrats on choosing some great rims!

As I stated, 20mm offsets WILL NOT WORK. You need the E90 offsets, which I have given you above. Just call/e-mail the places I've suggested and they will get you the product. It looks like you are located in Belgium. If that's the case, you can e-mail/call ALT and find out who their distributor is in Belgium.

Bonne chance...
Matt.

Matt, can you post some pics of those for us? I have only seen pictures of 19 M5 reps, but not 18's. Also, what brand tires did you finally end up going with?
