fuel rail depressurization

hey i was wondering if anyone knew how to depressurize a fuel rail on a 2006 325xi the safe way. i know there is a lot of pressure built up in here and i dont wana to injure myself as i will be installing a NOS kit this weekend

any info in appreciated

Well, I don't know how to do it the safe way (I accidentally instructed a buddy of mine to depressurize mine (convinced him and myself that the injectors were in fact ignition coils) and he wound up with an eyeful of gas), so my advice is if you're not doing it the safe way, when your about to remove that injector, duck!

But on a more serious note, I'm sure a friend of mine did this safely when installing his S/C - I think he first removed a fuse or something and then dry cranked it maybe? Not sure, don't remember.

When it goes boom from the nos it will depressurize.
