New Brembo's CCB kit in September?

It seems that it will be ready a new CCB kit for the new m3 e92, from next September. Not clear if it will be officially sold by BMW. I don't think.
It is established also the price : 11.200 euro including Italian VAt of 20%. So for export it would cost about 9.300 euro plus local tax.
Rumors from an Italian Forum. From people that cooperates with Brembo

Well, that would be nice, but for US $15,000 you can already get the Stop Teck CCB and I thought other than reducing unsrprung weight more than the BBK, they really don't brake better and the BBK will NOT fade when track used. So, don't know if it is at all beneficial. Course, they look cool!! hahaha! The Brembo Race BBK is about $20,000 and has iron rotors by the way. Its the calipers that are great in that system.

Rotora's planning on CCB kits for several applications starting around $7,000-$8,000. It was in Euro Tuner a few months back.

I doubt that for that price you can get a good CCB kit. I would have to let someone really reliable test it out first.

I'd take some nice 15.75 inch rotors off of a Ferrari FXX and put them on an M3, LOL say good bye to stock breaking distances

Will the CC rotors fit the BBK calipers?

$15-20 K brakes on an $60-70K car

that would be retard, If you can afford brakes that cost that much you should have bough a Ferrari 430 or a Lambo.

There are a lot of better options to improve braking on the M for track use that are more in line with the cost of the car.

True, true, but in Italy the car costs about $100 thousand!!! $70ish is only in the USA. Second, some people don't want a Ferrari or want an M that performes like a devil. Also, some people don't want the attention of a Ferrari.

Nope, the distances would be almost unchanged. This is because braking distances are generally tire-road friction limited. You would see some benefit if you first over heated and got the stock brakes well into a fade limiting braking scenario first. What you get from CCBs are principally:

-Lighter and lower moment of inertia
-Much greater resistance to heat and heat fade
-Longer rotor life
-An empty bank account

For a man who has the BMW performance seats, I figured these carbon ceramic brakes would practically make you horny.

Maybe some people have more than one car?

They do!! Thing is, $15 grand for brakes is a bit too much , I'm happy with the Brembo BBK that although certainly not as light or as fade resistant as the CCB, they are considerably lighter (by about 18.5 Kilograms) and more fade resistant than the stock brakes and are sufficient for my street and track needs. Maybe later in time I may switch but only if the cost comes down some. I think this is likely since all the economies are going to shit!!!

As soon as someone released some CCB either Stoptech or Brembo, rest assured we'll have it announced. I know I've drooled over the idea now for many years now.

The rumored price point will be a far more affordable from what I recall. I don't want to say the price I heard cause it was hearsay. Stoptech is definitely not any time soon for now, but they have been working on it.

Anyone want to buy a custom set of Brembo BBK's? I heard BMW-M-Mexico will be selling a set in a couple of months. Just kidding!
