Lowered with splitter, how often does it hit?

The splitter alone on standard suspension had me being a bit careful. I've just had it dropped back after some ACS suspension springs have been put on it.

I haven't driven it yet but real world, do you find yourself having to consider your routes a bit more carefully?

I can fit my foot under the splitter, just

I have the splitter and Eibach springs, and don't really find it an issue to be honest. I think i've only scraped a couple of times. In multi-storey car parks it would scrape if i took the 'normal' line, but if you come at it from more of an angle it was alright.

Same as above, never really had issue apart from a few speed bumps around my way

You will scrape it occasionally but go slow over speed bumps and in car parks and its not a big deal. Even of you scrape the underside its not the end of the world. Just watch kerbs when driving into spaces

Yea be careful when pulling into parking spaces and take any driveways at an angle not straight on and you will be fine.

Thanks for the advice.

Can't believe how much smoother it drives with the ACS springs on.

You're all bloody liars

Parked in a clients car park yesterday...

Drove in forwards over this, heard a scrape as I drove in and didn't think anything else of it. Guess what happened after the meeting?

Reversed out and it ripped the fucking splitter clean off. It was a bit embarrassing having to get out, fold the rear seat down and take it home in the boot.

Luckily just needs new clips so it'll be back on at the weekend and again quite luckily it didn't take my bumper with it and there was no damage to the carbon!

(It's going back on at the same time I put the spacers on so I'm quite excited)

The more I hear how good these springs are the more I want to get them on soon!

With x drive and front splitter the family will then be complete once I get these

I imagine on the x-drive it'll be even better.

I had a 435d a year or so ago and it certainly wasn't a drivers car, great in a straight line but boring.

Prioritise the springs, seriously.
