Some f***tard had fun with my rear quarter panel >:(

Yeah, so this is the first time my car's been keyed, and trust me, the guy who did it went all out. This isn't just a single small line, this looks like a spider web. I literally thought it was one until I took a closer look too. This f*cker really dug into the paint too.

If I could've caught the guy in action I would've been the happiest person in the whole wide world right now.

Wow, it was probably better for your freedom that you didn't catch him. I know what I would've done....Do you have any idea why someone would have done this?

Get this, I was parked in a freakin' neighborhood, like a really, really upscale one where all the houses are at least three stories and all that. I was at a grad party and I left my car parked at the curb of the house, which is sort of close to the entrance of the neighborhood. The side that got scratched is the one that faced the street.

Motherf*ckers.

Btw, no one at the grad party did it. I'm 100% sure because this was more of a private one with our best of friends and it happened after they all left.

Very sorry to see those pictures. Hope you are able to have your insurance take care of it quickly and get a good repair.

Unfortunately, we can probalby expect to see more of this, rather than less, in the next few years. As the economy worsens, people will become more angry that they don't have (what they perceive as) luxury items. They will take out their frustrations on nice cars among other things. Vandalism to personal property should be made a far more serious offense. Send these bastards to Singapore!

sf_loft: good response. I also wonder about this, but I do not doubt the OP may have been the recipient of a random act.

One thing I do know, is that the person who did this will likely be a burden on society for the rest of his life. It takes a certain mentality to justify doing this type of crime, and rarely will it change.

sf loft - you have a valid point, but sometimes it just happens because people commit random acts of vandalism. We had a new car keyed once, for no reason at all.

People almost never place their mailboxes obnoxiously in the street, or annoy people with them, or flaunt them as superior mailboxes... yet, sometimes punks with baseball bats smash them anyway.

That sucks... Hope it's not too much of a hassle to get it fixed.

People do weird shit sometimes. I had someone walk over my car... That's right, litterally walk over my car. There were foot prints from the back bumper going across the entire car. No dents but some small scratches through the paint on the roof. Wtf?
