Rain in Maui?

I'm leaving for a week long vacation in maui on June 6. Weather reports say there is going to be rain and it will be about 87 degrees. How is the rain in maui, will it ruin the vacation or everything will be just fine? Thanks for any advice in advanced.

Well, first, I highly douby it will rain each/most days. And when it does rain, it can stop in a few minutes. Well, I'm speaking like some expert...but I just got back from vaca there a few days ago. Here's some advice. On a rainy day, go up to the summit of the big mountain and visit the national park there. At 10,000 feet, you'll be well above the clouds = no rain! That, and it is honestly one of the most breathtaking views you'll ever see. Comparable to great canyon, Yosemite, etc.

i live on the south side and we've been good lately. weather has been weird, but like the man above, its fickle...could rain then go away in mins. have fun and make sure you dont lose your rental car keys swimming or else you'll be calling me and be donating money unwillingly haha. keys are expensive these days.
