437m alloys and tyres on f36

Hi again,

I realise that this type of thing has been discussed and answered in other posts but I am very new to any kind of car mods especially those to do with alloys.

What would I have to do if I wanted to fit the following (https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F292432564518) to my f36 420d gran coupe xdrive 2016. I’m assuming I can’t just have them thrown on!? Would I require new tyres etc.

Please forgive my ignorance but other threads have just left me confused.

Thanks

Would it be easier to fit 405m style wheels?

Because they’d poke out beyong the wheel arch, which I believe is illegal, and also by the sounds of it you need to use the original F30 size tyres so they don’t scrub, which you’ll really struggle to get any tyre fitters to put on such wide wheels.

On the pictures I’ve seen they look to fit really well!

On a stock ride height car with stock F8x tyre sizes they do poke but even with 235/40 & 265/35 & a set of springs they sit under the arches!

Rear wheels make them look a bit like a roller skate for me. Also with the stretched tyres the wheels are very exposed to getting kerbed.

teaston is right as both of these alloys do poke out and I don’t you guys after boys racer look

I had 405M and now 763M both reps from CM and sizes are

Front. 8.5J
245 40 19

Rear. 9.5J
266 35 19

Tyres not sticking or poking out .

I think if you getting front 9J/ rear 10J then alloys will poke out and ruin your cars .

I do love the look of those 666m wheels in your second photo. Are those sizes the same for that look too?
