Primer for chip repair?
Did a search on this and couldn't find anything.
I've got a few chips that I want to touch up and bought the Langka chip repair kit. The instructions show that you can touch up chips down to bare metal with use of their kit. Couldn't find any info on the web either about suggested primer for BMWs. Has anyone used primer when touching up chips that are down to the metal, and if so what did you use. Thoughts?

I've read very, very mixed reviews about those Langka kits. I know I'm not really answering your question, but I would recommend that you bring your car to a professional to have those chips fixed with the touch-up paint and a wet sander.
Some people have said that the kit doesn't work (paint blot keeps getting pulled out when you scrape) or even when it does work, the colour doesn't quite match up right to the original paint. |
