I have something similar to that but its more of a thumping sound. Like two rubber pieces hitting each other.

what is that? brakes? i only hear it when i'm going slow 10-20mph ... it's fukkin' sad this shit happends to a 50k car with 8k miles on it so fast. but then again thank god i dont think it should be a problem.

did you ever fix this?
Hi there- I am experiencing the exact same problem with my BMW 335i
I took into the dealer twice and I cannot re-produce the problem. They say they can't help me unless they hear it. Any idea on what BMW did to help you? any help would kindly be appreciated. Quote:

Appears this will remain a mystery, and a common problem. Sounds like something isn't lubricated.. hope its not a wheel bearing. Wonder if CPO warranty covers that..
I should also note that on my car the noise does not stop when the motor warms up. It very well could be the brakes too, maybe? Last edited by PiZauL; 11-29-2011 at 07:00 AM.. |
