Yes you can no need to remove complete diff with drive shaft , best is to do lower diff and remove axle bolts to diff and the diff will come lower

Yes it’s a upgraded cover for more cooling and has some benefits your more then welcome to check there website out. You do see it when your driving from behind it sales for $800 I’m willing to take a reasonable offer
