Logic 7 Sound System Problem

Recently noticed my e90 has had some crackling and static when its playing. the music doesn't sound as clean as it used too.

Besides Changing the stock amp. what are the best options to go about with this problem.

eventually i was looking to upgrade the speakers throughout the car, where is a good place to get that done within the GTA.

Check to see if there's water getting in around your amp. Mine was fried in the spring last year, or two years ago; I found it in an inch of water. I replaced it and the second amp almost got fried after a couple days of heavy rain. I managed to get the second one out and dried before any real damage was done. I haven't been able to find the source of the leak so I moved the amp.

Water damage to L7 amp in particular is pretty common. If it occurs when playing any source, that's likely the issue though I suppose it's possible it could be the wiring also.

If static is only heard form a single speaker (vs all), could be the speaker itself too. Hard to tell without hearing it.

As for speaker install, I did mine myself. Not that difficult TBH.
Otherwise any reputable audio shop will do.

Out west I have previously gone to 20Hz... Frankie there did some of my initial audio work for me.

I have a couple recos in the east too:
My total audio
Ultimate care audio
Both in Oshawa.

Many rave about Kennedy hi fi in Scarborough, but I had a very poor experience with them on my brothers car.
