Possibility of reprogramming an FEM?

Hello all, my F30's FEM is bad, so I'm thinking about getting a used FEM from another bimmer, and give it to BMW dealers for reprogramming.

Is this possible? Has anyone successd in reprogramming an FEM?

Appreciated anything that's helpful.

Basically, it's possible, but non with standard BMW (Dealer) Tools. For this task, you can use VVDI2, for example.

So I can't do it at the dealer? I don't have any software, I guess I'll have to find an indy then?

Like GermanCars said....you have to find somebody with the right tools, or you have to buy a new FEM. On the offical way, there is possibility.
