'18 LCI w/H&R springs
So per my conversation I had with Heinlein racing I decided to stick with my plan and just do springs for my road car.
I installed a used set of H&R sport springs last night that i got from andrewc89. These should be pre-tensioned already since they are used but my car has 1400 miles on it so it is pretty new. After install I took it around the block since it was dark then parked it in the garage. I just measured it and the front dropped aprox .9 or 23mm and the rear .48, not even 1/2 inch. I will drive it a little bit today and see how the rear settles. Hope it goes down a bit....the car now has rake. I did review Benzima's before and after pics and noticed that the car went from stock no rake (almost level front to rear) to a forward rake. So based on that it had to drop more in the front than the back. Here are my stock numbers, top of factory 19in rim lip to fender lip highest point: front L 104mm front R 105mm rear L 98mm rear R 99mm Here are my after install static numbers: front L 81mm (-23) front R 80mm (-25) rear L 86mm (-12) rear R 85mm (-14) Now the above is just a lil drive time just around the block to lightly settle things. I will get some road time today |

Congrats man, I would have gotten springs vs my coilovers but the boss lady wanted it on warrantee. + I’m not allowed to physically mess with the car myself...
