Unlock all doors when in park?

One of the things I find annoying about this car is that once I put the car in park, all the doors are still locked until I shut the car off. It's kind of annoying when I'm with my family and I drop them off in front of a store or something, and my wife needs to get my daughter out of the back.

Is there a way to code it so the doors unlock when the car is put into park?

Negative. There is only a setting for auto-unlock with engine off.

Only alternative is IDrive function to disable "Lock after starting to drive."

I hate it when im reversing on drive & have to wait for family to get out first as I park in a corner agains the fence, especially if they have to get things out the boot...I have to press the unlock button twice (I think) or get the fob out & press the boot button.

Or set IDrive settings to unlock all doors or have family open own.

Then you should not have to hit unlock twice.

I have to hit it twice after she gets out for some reason. My Ford Focus was also the same way.

Why do you have to hit your wife twice? 😀
