This is oem m performance front lip. The middle part teared off but the sides were attached due to the 3m tape. Yes, base is damaged as well.

SIDE NOTE: any Boxing day deals for front lips? Preferably not that low.

I feel you on the Canadian winters! I just ordered an m240i two weeks ago and am on the fence to add the front splitter and lip for this exact reason!! It makes the front end look *SO* much better tho.?

Thumbs down

It does make the front end look better.

If you do decide to get the lip, dont use their 3m tape so you can take it off in winter.

Bear in mind, if u dont use their 3m tape, it does drop a "little" when u go over speed bumps. Scratched my lower lip many times when going over speed bumps too fast.

Exactly why I bought the M perf reps instead of the higher end front lips. At ~$100 it doesn't hurt nearly as much when one eventually damages the front lip.

*Reminding myself why I bought a second vehicle for winter (Colorado 4x4), even though it's a rough 5-6 month separation period...

Sucks man, hope you get it sorted out Looks like a beautiful BSM M240 you got there, otherwise!

Ditto on this. It's tough downgrading for the season but once winter hits us hard here in Ontario, I feel much better knowing my 2er is tucked away. This morning I raped a pothole so bad but who cares when a steel 15" rim is like 59$!

Hope you get your lip fixed my dude. Also, seeing as your in Ontario as well, I'm hoping you are not running stock wheels/tires.

Aliexpress had them for $97USD, ~170 shipped a while back. Just search F22 BMW front lip.

How did you manage that? did you slide into something?
My car is lowered and the splitter just tears through the snow sadly but its not busted or falling off yet. Shit i hit a Fox on the highway at like 120Km/h and i didnt even scratch it.

When I originally ordered my 235 I was searching throughout the internet for various kits and M-performance add ons. My wife noticed me searching for them and thought some looked really good and told me to get something. I decided against it for the very same reason: Canadian snows. This winter Toronto got quite a good snowfall compared to the last 2 winters!! Not gonna spend the money to have it ripped off, it'll feel like throwing money into the toilet at that point and I'd kick myself.

Nice pic! I used to rip through snow with my front M performance front splittler too, until it caught on a grate entering a parking lot and pulled out the bolts. I fastened it back together but it was never the same and finally broke completely off when i hit a large pack of snow on the road - the snow must not have been "fluffy".

I got it replaced but now I cringe when it hit big snow chunks on the road that has fallen off vehicles.
