New tires

Hi, guys I was looking into getting new wheels and tires for my 335xi 07. I was wondering if 255/35r18 would fit with 18x9.5 38 offset. I don't know that much about all this stuff so any help would be nice. Oh the rims I want to get are esm-002R 18"

They'll fit in the rear, but not the front. The fronts will hit the struts. I run same tire size on 18x9 with 35 offset and there's literally about 2-3mm clearance. So half inch wider wheel with higher offset will definitely hit.

He'd have to go 235/40/18 in the front

255 will not fit in the front.

Staggered - 235/40/18 - front
255/35/18 - rear

Square - 235/40/18 or 245/40/18

You are better off getting a rim that's 18 x 8.5 in any case.

So I could just run 235/40/18 on both front and back with 18x9.5 just stretch the tires.

Min. Width on a 9.5" rim is 245

Like said, get 8.5" rims. Even 9" rims would be better.

Thats way too big of a diameter difference for xdrive. I'd do 245 or 255 square.
