front vs rear shock tuning....

quick question regarding tuning koni yellow front versus rear but really it applies to any shocks

as a general rule, do you want to have more or less rebound damping front versus rear?

with our xdrive cars being especially front end heavy and understeery, i was wondering if that calls for more of less damping in the front?

thanks
