Steering not centered after coding

I just did some coding with Bimmercode which was easy and fun. However, my steering wheel is now a little off center although the car tracks perfectly straight. Is there some parameter I could have thrown off? Steering angle sensor calibration?
I've tried disconnecting the battery and the turning the wheel through its full range but this did not help.
Any thoughts?

Doubtful there's any way you can affect the steering calibration with something like Bimmercode or Carly for BMW, as there is still a mechanical connection between your steering wheel and the rack-and-pinion. The electric assist wouldn't interfere with that.

If you have access to ISTA+, you can reset the power steering to center the wheel. Your dealership can also perform this procedure for you, but if they do an I-level update for some reason to try and fix the issue, it'll undo your coding.

This normally happens anyway after coding/programming the EPS ECU in ISTA+. The BMW tools tell you to keep the wheel centered before doing any coding/programming, probably for this reason.

That's very interesting and exactly what I was curious about. Will keep the wheel absolutely straight for any future coding. Thanks!
