I don't know about BMW, but manufacturers usually let you have a single alignment procedure done within the first year. I complained about steering wheel wobble to my local Mercedes dealer and they re-balanced the the wheels/tires at their cost, but I have no idea what the actual print says about it.

We have our winner! Warranty will pay for alignment if it has less than 1200 miles, and wheels/tire balance is really just up to your dealer. We dont go past around 1500 miles usually.
