2018 or 2019 F90 M5

I just wanted to asked question, since the New F90 M5 will not come out for purchase till around March of 2018, this will only leave about 6 months till the new 2019 model comes available for ordering in September of 2018? Who will order the 2018 model or will you wait 6 months and get 2019 model to see if any updates to model or any bugs need working out? Your Thoughts?

My build sheet says it's a MY 18.

Military Sales Price vs USA Price

Sounds good. I currently living in South Korea and under the Military Sale Program I will be able to get a New F90 M5 at invoice price that will be about 10K less than in states MSRP. My dilemma is do I save 10k on 2018 or spend more in states to get the 2019? I have a year left in South Korea. With built time and delivery date, I maybe gone before I could take possession of it. Then If shipped directed to States, I would have to pay import fees, taxes, and tag cost which would eliminate the 10k price. I was told by sales rep here the base sticker standard with no options is estimated to be around 96k. He said he has nothing in writing but he has heard some rumors....I know rumors...but that's a great start if you look at the British Pounds invoice sticker number and convert to dollars that is very close. So with all the options I want I will be around $110k, tax free.

Anyone else here has SOFA status thinking about purchasing through Military/ Diplomatic Sales Program?

I was wrong, it is a 2018.

10th character in the VIN is a J

I missed that "I" is skipped in the year calculation, so J = 2018.
