Increase boost JB+ after Downpipe

Hey guys made this thread just so I can have everyone's input.
I just put my vrsf Catless Downpipe on(sounds amazing might I add). I was wondering if by running 91 octane with an intake and Downpipe if I would run into any trouble increasing the boost on my jb+.
Before the cat delete I had increased the boost to almost max and ran into a few problems(shift delays and throttle lag) so I toned it back down and it's perfect. Just wondering if the Downpipe can give me that extra push to increase boost.

I have noticed with my dp and JB+ that I get very unpredictable power delivery when in wot. It is not smooth at all. I had to take it off for an oil change and will put it back on here soon. I will than play with the different boost levels to see if it gets better.

With jB+ and downpipe and Intake I?ve noticed you can?t go past 3psi extra boost. I? was getting constant throttle closures
I? went with jb4 after downpipe with EWg wires to be able to add more power.

Really that's odd I've put mine over two notches Extra and run into no problems so far

With a DP you need the JB4 w/ EWG connector to remove wastegate dutycycle and prevent excessive throttle closure.

The only tune that seems to not give consistent issues is a properly set up JB4 with FF and EWG wires. I have never once had a shift delay and I only run absolute target maps.

The B58 just isn't as simple as the N54 or N55. Without logging, it's really hard to know what is going on. The JB4 is the only one that can log properly.

Its not the JB+ causing throttle closures its your DP - known negative side effect... And why Terry doesnt recommend them..especially since it yields very little power gains for the B58 (as per BMS).

JB+ is meant to be used with fully stock cars

Thats why we offer 100% credit if customer decides to exchange the JB+ to a JB4 within one year of purchase
