Easy Seat Access F36

Anyone point me in the direction of any info on this? I have done loads of searches and found nothing

I want the seat to pop back a couple of inches on unlocking or door opening for the driver. I have Bimmercode ready for my first use at it, already got a list:

ambient lights not dependant on instrument lights, always 100%
Door handles light on reverse
Temperature with tyre pressure
Digital speedo in BC

Thanks

AFAIK, Easy Entry is not possible on Bimmercode using the canned options. You would need to go in to Expert Mode

If you DO give Expert Mode a try - check this thread for the needed coding changes + you will have to take some measurements as directed

Stephan of Bimmercode is looking into it. But it's not easy due to all the variations and the fact we all have our seats in different 'normal' positions.

Maybe if a couple more reached out to him he might bump it up his list.

As someone else mentioned in another thread about this-in the interim, you could always program one of the other seat memories to the back position.

Then just hit that mem button to move back before getting out, then the other for driving position when getting in

When coding there are a limited amount of hexadecimal values you can choose from based on your measurements and how far you want seat to move back from driver position. Bimmercode should be able to include those in drop down menu in a canned routine, user would just have to take measurements 1st

That sounds like way too much effort for a BMW driver.
I will probably end up going the expert route in the Bimmercode app to be honest.
