1-Series Seats in E92?

I love my E92 with sport seats, but my car does not have heated seats. A local guy is selling heated sport seats out of a 1-series that look identical to my seats. Fortunately the coupe seat heating runs over CANBUS so the heating should be plug and play. Are the seats compatible? My understanding is that e92 M3 seats fit the 1-series, so the opposite should also be true. Can anyone confirm compatibility or mention any differences in the seats?

they are compatible unless they are half-electric, there is such option sometime
you can determine if they half-electric if the seats have adjustment buttons but do not have memory from driver side
and for some reason bmw make 1-series seats with Boston leather but 3-series come with Dakota leather and M3 seats come with Novillo leather

Thanks for the info, the leather actually is a little different. I bought the pair of really nice heated/power/sport 1-series seats with modules for $100, so I'm stoked. The 1-series seats don't have lumbar or seat-back pockets, but are otherwise very close to e92 seats. The leather is a little harder, but you would only notice if the seats are side by side. Since my seats are a little less worn, I think I might swap the heating mats into my seats. It looks like the heating mats can be carefully removed.
