Car is going into dealership next week.
No key hole on trunk lid.

Wanted to leave my subwoofer in rather than remove it.

Is there a way of coding it shut.
I have coded the key fob not to respond so there is a huge delay to unlock.

However, that does not solve the sensor problem if the car is unlocked.

Last year I had a sub and amp stolen by someone at the dealer. No dash cam at the time. Dealer denied all knowledge as we did not check trunk when walking around the car.

Thanks

Don't you have a valet lock function? Check your manual.

You won't want to prevent a dealer getting to the boot, that's where the battery is.

I have passed a ctek wire through to the cabin. They usually plug into that. They won't be disconnecting battery as just bodywork.
