Coding with Carly

I traded a 2011 135i for a 2017 340i on Saturday. On Sunday I went to have it coded by somebody that has Carly. We were able to get everything coded that I wanted except one feature. I wanted to have the doors auto unlock when the car is turned off, but we couldn't find that feature in the app.

Is this feature available on Carly? I know it can be coded using something else, but I was specifically wanted to see if the feature is available on Carly. I emailed them, but haven't heard back yet.

Carly can only code like 20-30 functions where real coding can do all the stuff

My UK model does this by default? Doors on auto lock feature when driving over x mph, then when you hit the start stop button the doors unlock.

I was never able to code auto unlock with Carly. I did successfully code that feature with the bimmercode app which has many more Coding options.

Good luck.

Just got a Carly update on my Android tablet last evening - I'll check to see if it includes the auto-unlock this time around. I've already coded both cars with E-Sys, but I occasionally do codings for friends and it would be a lot simpler with Carly.

I used BimmerCode to code and it does have the auto unlock function.
