hey guys, need your help on this one. I have a 2013 F30 and a buddy of mine did the 2017 update with a Maxysis MS908 scanner using the J2534 programming module, there was an update for almost every module in the car. after the update I noticed everything ok however now the instrument cluster is in German, but only the instrument cluster. everything else is fine. I have E sys setup and tried searching the word "sprache" in KOMBI but that value was already set to US. anybody can help me here? is there another value that might need changing? thanks

can't you change that in your idrive settings? Mine switches to french after vo-coding and i have to change it back to dutch in the idrive menu. I have to admit, everything changes to french, even the idrive menu and not just the instrument cluster...

I tried, in my case. The cluster is not changing from deutsch. I tried putting in different language's, the I drive changes but not the cluster.

I had this with the displayed outside temperatur after conversion to German values and language, it was displayed into °F, no way to change it, no matter what I'd tried. Never figured out whats went wrong

😞 I'm going to try to rerun the new update with the programmer. Hopefully there is a entry to keep it in English.

I VO coded the Kombi module to no avail, I ended up converting to English UK which is almost the same. Now Kombi works as before
