Anyone had a timeout when first connecting to the Vgate 2 dongle?

It fails at various points during the identification stage and the only fix is to toggle WiFi and try again - sometimes I also need to force close the BimmerCode app. Regardless, it always fails during reading ECUs.

Have turned on slow communication and no difference.

Mine always fails first time but second time around it works.

The other day I held the phone right up to tje vgate amd it worked first time. I will try that again and see if it solves it.

Will try holding close but then you can't see the screen! It has failed multiple times for me, only got the app and dongle today and so far, not impressed.

Only do this during initial connection. After that it works fine. May be reset phone and reinstall app if that doesn't work? Worth letting the app producer know as well.
