G30 - ASS Coding

Hi All,
I am new to coding and wondering how can I code g30 auto start/stop option to remember last setting (off) that was set prior to locking the car, or to set auto start/stop option default value to be always off in comfort mode. Since this will be the first time to code g30, can you please let me know which esys software version is recommend to use as well as other files, and where to find ASS setting?

Thank you.

I was able to code stop/start to remember last setting. I was able to find an option TCM_MSA_MEMORY under:CAFD_00002742_000_105_003.ncd. Paramethers Wert should be set to Wert_01 and Werte=01.

After 7/1 default is on in states. Dealership are no longer authorized to code memory.

So I did the same this morning. But during coding the car turned itself off and got a service message in the screen to visit the nearest dealer. At the same time got all green from Esys. After restarting the car, message was gone and all seems well.

You cannot program or code DME/DDE (engine ECU) while active/running. So, You must either have either not have external power source or left accessory mode running too long before attempting coding.

Ok, so leave the engine off and contact on. Gonna try again in a few.

EDIT:

It worked. Thanks again Almaretto, you're a big big help! vkoprivica too!

Next step is, enable start in ECO PRO mode... :-)

The same thing happened to me two days ago. I thought I killed my 6 day old G01. Scared the hell out of me! But like yours, the car restarted OK with no apparent issue. My Esys did throw a big red error code and thus, did not disable ASS. I did successfully disable to OBD alarm, so that was good. When I get over my PTSD, I plan to try again. I have one question. In a prior G30 post, the following was posted:
TCM_MSA_MEMORY under:CAFD_00002742_000_105_003.ncd. Paramethers Wert should be set to Wert_00 and Werte=01.
Above, in this thread, it says:

I forgot what default was. Can you tell me which is correct or does it not matter?
Thanks!

ASS coding

Also, to confirm:

"Engine is OFF, ignition switch is ON, key fob is in the car."

I just have to code this in the 15 minutes the car stays active in the above state.

Correct?

Thanks again.

It matters and factory depends on region and firmware version.

So then "Paramethers Wert should be set to Wert_01 and Werte=01." is the correct code to make memory active?

And am I correct about "Engine is OFF, ignition switch is ON, key fob is in the car."?

Thanks

I don't see DME ecu in Esys for my 530i G30. Also it's missing in ISTA. That's strange.
Is there some trick for G30? Can someone save and share 530i's SVT? I want to try CAFD injection.

DME is engine ECU. You would have to have one present. You cannot use someone else's SVT.

There are 19 ECUs in Esys and ISTA. And there is no DME_BAC2 (and any DME at all).
I've tried to read data in diagnostic mode, with running engine, with just ignition on - same result - no DME.
