It's cheaper to order the unpainted one & then get your dealer to paint it to match. I am assuming you want the OEM model?

The simple answer is because here in Europe white sedans are usually ambulances. Private buyers will hardly ever specify white (or bright red) on mid-sized sedans.

You can get some Krylon white spray paint at Wal Mart for like $4 a can.

But seriously, what a PITA to have to get a shop to spray it for you. They will use more paint filling the gun and flushing it out than they'll put on the spoiler. Don't know why that spoiler isn't a factory option. Oh well, I kinda like mine without it.

the spoiler is a completely aesthetic thing right? Or is there actually an increase in downforce from such a little lip? curious

Will it technically increase downforce? I would guess it probably will. Will it be noticable or is it needed? I doubt it.
