just installed JB2 with 29.2 progman

My friend gave me his Juicebox stage 2 today, we transferred it straight from his car to mine. I took it for a test drive after installing just a few mins ago and the shifting is a little eratic. When i get on it, the initial throttle response is insane.. but it wants to shift early at 5k RPMs.. is it because it hasn't adopted to my car yet?

Let it adapt and it will get better.

Also, if you dont want it to shift use manual mode. That is how I drive 24/7

What is a solenoid bypass? Is it the same as an O2 simulator?

This is what Terry had to say

To be on the safe side you can remove the blue and green looms on your JB2 if you get stuck with 29.2, and do not run the H, R, or X with it.

I chose it over 6MT after driving MTs for my whole life. Its so much easier when youre tired to not have to worry about making smooth shifts and stuff. And heck, it shifts quicker than I ever could.

There is no negative effect on the transmission. It works the same way as it does in auto, but instead of it picking the shift points, you do when click the paddle or push the shift lever.

Its M (manual) where you shift yourself.

This two looms (Green/Blue) are use to control the air/fuel ratio wich is what BMW is using on progman 29.2 to identify the use of piggybacks ( tunes).

Um ya. Thats why the autos kick ass. Terry's car has step, jus ask him how smooth it is. 6MT FTL!
