What is a reasonable price for MPS install at the dealership?

Would appreciate any input on install prices (not including parts) at dealerships for the M performance suspension in the US market. For anyone interested in this upgrade the best price I was able to find for the parts was at BMWPartspro (thanks to this forum). I asked my dealer if they price match and they didn't come all the way down but came close enough for me to go with them. The key being I asked from the beginning if they would price match. I didn't even have to negotiate. We all benefit when we share info. Thanks in advance.

Brian keller from sun motors quoted me lower than any website for the suspension. Think general quote for install is going to be close to 1k though, it's easier to find a shop, most would charge around $600.

I didn't have it installed at a dealer, but hope this info can help you in some way....

- $1968 for M Performance Suspension + hardware (Brian Keller at Sun Motors)
- $400 install at local performance shop with great rep
- Warranty is honored even though it wasn't installed at dealer

Thank you for the responses! It gives me a baseline for choosing the shop. I'm not necessarily shopping for the best price, just a reasonable one at a shop or dealer that does good work and takes care of my baby without "violating" me, lol I will definatly keep Brian at Sun Motors in mind for future sourcing.

$300
An interesting way to find out is the BMW parts catalog. Check out the exhaust. It will make you select a local dealer. Then for some parts will show an installed price. Very easy to deduct the installed price from the uninstalled price. That's how I saw $300 at my dealer. I located an install price of $80 for the rear spoiler. I took advantage of that!
Sorry, thought you were talking about the exhaust! The suspension was $800, I think. I would not trust a cheap install for the suspension.
