Someone check out Vernasca leather and describe it compared to Dakota, Napa, etc.

Feels nicer than Dakota not as smooth as Napa.

Thanks for sharing your pics. I hope you're going to receive the M40i soon and show us how it looks in real life! I can't get any information about my M40i delivery

I seem to remember someone with BMW saying that they wouldn't be putting fake vents and the like on things. Aero elements would be functional. |

Thank you for taking the time to take, and then to share the photos, NH_F36 - I hope it entices a number of folks to come by and take a look!
Regarding the Breather - Calvin Luk confirmed it was not functional in the 30i series during his video interview with the AutoGefuhl team. We were awaiting confirmation about the M40i thinking the Presenter may have been incorrect, but Palbay has now confirmed in his thread. So it seems the only outlier is the X3M at this time. Although, as mentioned in a previous post, I would have preferred a smooth body style without a 'fake vent', I have to think that the Engineers felt that it was no longer necessary after they perfected other elements of the exterior (especially, perhaps, the underbody?). And perhaps this came at a point late in the design so that production design had already begun, so it would be easier to simply plug the gap. Just guessing on this, but suspect if it pans out that the fluid dynamics don't require the Breather for any of the G01 variations, that perhaps in a(n) LCI version they may be removed. But it should also be added - some may actually like the look. At this point I'm trusting the aerodynamic team at BMW as to its necessity. |

Thanks for the photos - appreciate it.
If possible could you post photos of the boot with the floor raised. Just would like to check the underfloor storage. Yes I know there are photos elsewhere of this but I'd like to see it in an actual production car. Edit : I also see the X3 has the panoramic sunroof. Is the cover for the sunroof a solid-type headliner cover like in the F25 (which I prefer) or has the larger sunroof in the G01 resulted in a fabric-type sunshade. Tony |

The headrests on our 2013 have always pushed my head uncomfortably forward. I'm hoping the G01 with better seats will solve that problem. Thanks! |
