Radio coding
Help..., disconnected my professional radio to check vent motors in dash. When plugged radio back in, no longer have sound or aux input. Did the ecu forget my radio? How do I recode? Its the same radio, I've only disconnected it and reconnected it. It's this normal?. 2007 335i.

There is no need to recode there are no security codes.
There is a fuse in the back of the radio but I suspect you don't have the connector properly seated. The connector must be all the way down before you throw the lever. Make sure there are no bent pins. |

Thanks but no luck.. Checked fuses, connection and pins bit still no audio or aux input. Display is normal and it seems to be receiving radio stations. Very strange

Thanks, extremely helpful! Now I've got some reading and some checking to do. I do have bluetooth and the most fiber optic cable so I'll work on that route of possible issues.
