Want to get the roof of my car painted black, its space grey rn
I don't want something super special, just reguular gloss black not a hard color to do
I don't really trust yelp reviews in my area as most 5 start reviews are by non-car people and when someone that seems to know about cars rights a review its kinda low
But I figured this community would know a good place
Its a simple job on a flat panel not rocket science sonf anybody has suggestions for a quality shop that doesn't over charge or have a "bmw tax" lmk
And no I won't go to ltmw

alright, I'm not sure what that means but it was just a recommendation as I've had alot of mechanical and paint work done by Ivan/StrasseSport. I've been extremely pleased with every experience.

Affiliated or not, Strassesport still does excellent work. Gonna go to them to mold my lip onto my bumper next time I go. What's wrong with Creaminz anyways?

I've just heard less than good things about ltmw and creaminz when it comes to quality of work on cars at ltmw and other stuff about creaminz as well where I would kinda steer clear on anything affiliated with him and ltmw

If you knew the whole story, the car was rushed by it's sponsors (for the GT3) to repaint the whole car before SEMA which was in pretty short time. True, I believe LTMW's quality in work has gone down a bit but I don't believe Darren's name has anything to do with the work LTMW or Strassesport does. Not quite sure why him being affiliated with these shops make these shops "bad" as they do pretty big builds themselves. Darren has his own shop anyways..

ABS auto body shop in south El Monte do a good job. Ask for Kevin. He is also has a car guy that owns many different bmw

I would say don't believe all the internet/IG fame, especially when some shops only post photos of the same cars that are also cars of their buddies or crew.

I almost feel that the less internet famous shops may be better and faster and offer better customer service. Most tuner type shops have terrible business practices and overall customer service, or lack thereof.
