Air conditioning - Remember last setting?

I appreciate that everyone will use the A/C differently and this question will not be relevant to all.....

In my previous 3 BMWs (E90 / E46) I would normally leave the fan setting to low and have it directed on the front screen, to keep it free from condensation. On start up, this setting would always be remembered. This was by far the most used setting for me, just adjusting the temp depending upon the ambient.

In my F30 (I have the extended functionality A/C) the button to direct the air onto the screen is on the drivers side only. However when turn off the engine and start, it does not remember this setting and I have to manually press the button again to get it to direct onto the screen.

Is there any way of getting it to remember the last setting?

You will need to code it.

Just checked the coding list and it looks like you are correct.

I see on the list -

MEMORY_UMLUFT - Remember Air Circulation setting from previous shutdown

Hopefully that will do what i want it to do. Will report back when I get time to get it done.
