Exclamation F90 M5 Competition Package - first details and preview pics

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Seems like the CP comes earlier than expected. The cars with CP are all marked as a pre-production model, but the preview is already available. As you can see in the pictures, the CP gets the black accents and a new rim design.

It remains to be seen:
- whether there will be a performance increase
- once again a special CP exhaust
- a new setup for the suspension, DSC, etc

Competition Package specific Equipment:
7MA Competition Package
7M9 Individual High-Gloss Satin chrome black with extended content
2FQ 20" Y-Spoke 789M Bicolor Mixed Tyres (unfortunately without picture)

Fascinating -- thanks for the update! Is this from a VIN or from an online configurator?

Other than the front grilles being black, someone tell me what difference they're seeing in these pictures ?

We can probably expect everything that the F10 M5's Comp Pack came with and more.

In the case of the F90, more being Blacked out Chrome everywhere and Carbon Brakes as standard.

Price may be the most shocking factor for the F90 M5's Competition Package.

Looks okay, but not as radical as I expected (probably a good thing). I'm just hoping that the mushy steering which I find on my M550 has been fixed. Then I would trade mine in a heartbeat.

Those are not really preview images for the competition package. Those images are generated based on the option list. The image generator ignores options that haven't been defined yet. Nothing from the Competition Pack has been defined hence you don't see anything new there.

The 7M9 option is part of the First Edition, so it's been there for a while now.

Wheels aren't that bad. Not too fond of the front bumper changes.

During its lifetime, there will be 700hp RS7 and 800hp CLS.
So hopefully there will be a nice power bump in CP.

The m5 has always been a bit conservative on looks. There's sportiness and elegance in its looks but most importantly it's a beast in how it drives.

If you want in your face/ground-breaking styling BMW isn't right for you
