N51/N52 ignition coil interchangeably?
I have a 2009 e90 N51 SULEV and in the past 2 years cylinder 4 misfired twice. I bought the bosch ignition coil for e90 and didn't realize it is for N52 (since most parts seller don't distinguish N51/N52, e.g FCP euro). I didn't know it is under SULEV warranty until recently. REALOEM shows DELPHI ignition coil is the OEM for N51 and Bosch ones are not listed. On the other hand, both NGK and Bosch (which I put on recently) spark plugs are both listed for N51. So is it OK if I use Bosch ignition coil instead of Delphi ones? Does it fit? Will there be a consequence in long run? TIA!

On my 2011 N51 I also had a misfire on cylinder 4 and replaced the coil. The original was Bosch and the replacement I got from Rock Auto was the same part number but a newer revision. From what I remember, FCP Euro specified the same Bosch coil that I got from Rock Auto.
