Headlight Bulb Replacement - Should I Disconnect Battery?
This may seem like a silly question, but from what I've read on the forums disconnecting the negative battery terminal is mentioned for most if not all repairs (although this isn't technically a repair) ... with that, should I bother disconnecting the battery for a simple bulb change? I've never bothered doing it with any other vehicle I've owned ... but wanted to make sure.
Thanks ahead of time. EDIT ... Non Xenon bulbs if that matters. Last edited by N52UNED; 09-12-2017 at 09:09 PM.. |

Y, Id say so. But if they are Xenon there is still prob a capacitor that has 20Kv. .. but nevermind that.. ;-)

But that being said ... I'd rather not if it's not necessary. |
