Headlight Bulb Replacement - Should I Disconnect Battery?

This may seem like a silly question, but from what I've read on the forums disconnecting the negative battery terminal is mentioned for most if not all repairs (although this isn't technically a repair) ... with that, should I bother disconnecting the battery for a simple bulb change? I've never bothered doing it with any other vehicle I've owned ... but wanted to make sure.

Thanks ahead of time.

EDIT ... Non Xenon bulbs if that matters.

Y, Id say so. But if they are Xenon there is still prob a capacitor that has 20Kv. .. but nevermind that.. ;-)

Thanks for the input. I went ahead and disconnected the neg terminal anyway just to be safe. Plus the harness was a bit of a bitch to get off ... so I was glad I did it.

But that being said ... I'd rather not if it's not necessary.
