Just put my H&R springs on.

Just got a chance to post some pics of my H&R drop springs with my 19x8.5 & 19x9.5 HP racing wheels. I was realy suprised on how the ride was even after runing lower profile tires and drop springs on a 19" rim. The clearnce is fine and the fit is perfect. Here are a couple of pics.

Jerry

Kick ass dude! That steps it up on the 330i sport package. Who did it for you, and what was the cost? Does it mess with your warranty?

Did you have sport pkg prior before installing the springs? How much lower did the spring do to the car?

Nice, though I 'd prefer another wheel

I want to get a more solid ride. How do you like it. I have the 162s with ss. How much did you pay for these H& Rs?

Looks nice!!! You did just springs, or shocks too?

Perfect drop... Exactly how much of a drop? If you don't mind me asking, how much were the wheels? I'm guessing the tires aren't run-flats?

Of course he did. What I was saying is that he just stomped all over the 330i look, IMO. His will look like this car you see here. The 330i will look like every other 330i.

Very nice.

Regarding the idea of having my car look unique vs. like every other 330i, well...I think I will prefer to look like every other 330i. I find security in that sort of--for lack of a better term--anonymity. I like stealth.

Hi Jerry,

I have a few questions for you, what springs did you put on the car? -3.5 cm or -5 cm? And did you have the OEM sport suspension before?

How's the car handling after lowering?

wow, unbelievable drop, that is perfect. I really really love what H&R puts out for BMWs, high quality, aesthetically pleasing stuff. DO you know which version of the H&R spring you got ? If you still have the box maybee look at the part number on the box. ? Or if you can peek between your spokes to look at the (probably red) springs and read the number off them ?

Nice looking car! What tires are you running? I heard there are no run-flats in 19 inch diameter. I'll bet you have a much lighter wheel/tire combo running conventional tires though. Even at 19 inches, the conventional tires have got to be a lot lighter than run-flats. Curious how the car feels over the choppy bumps...

I wanted the 330 but it was a lot cheeper to go wite the 325 for the wifes car. The wheels, tires springs, installation and alingment wasn't bad at all.

wheel & tire $1850

springs $280 with shiping

install and alingment $250 = $2380.

And I knew I wanted 19" so I would still need to upgrade the 330 on that aspect anyway.

No just the base suspension. The H&R drop was listed as 1.2 back and 1.3 front.

It is more solid but not race bumpy solid. But each person has a defferent feel as to there liking. I think they are a little stiffer than the stock setup with the run flats. Turner has them for $260.00

The springs were dark grey almost black. My Audi & VW sports springs were both Red but not these.

I am using a Fuzion 245/35/19 up front and a Fuzion 275/30/19 on the rear. I was told they make a run flat in a 19" but there were up in the price range of $350 per tire. To much for me so I will take my chances. The new OD tire size I think is about a little under 1" more than stock on both front and back. Not sure about weight.

with 245/35/19 in the front, does that rub or anything?
