The version I had in my March 07 335i MT before an update was made in early May was73.53.C2. After an overnight stay to get updated I had version 79.50.C1. So my guess is that it is Progman 29.2.

SO that's why my car had been reacting weird lately that explains the sudden loss of power at certain points!
Time for a roll back!

Mine is the same version.

I was in service last week to get the MOST iPod adapter. My SA confirmed with the techs that I am now on Progman 29.2.

From my understanding, the Idrive menu is only accessible on Non-US E9X w/ idrive.

This number here has nothing to do with it. I have the same number on a December 2007 production car. Progman 29.2 has been released March 2008. I believe the target data status is "E89x-08-03-530".

RELAX.

If you expereince a loss in power after your update let it adapt and power will be back to normal soon.
