e90 335xi wheel fitment

just got a crazy deal on some wheels and tires. the only problem is that the front are 17x8 with a 40mm offset and the rear are 17x9 with a 45mm offset. I know that the offset are less agressive than stock. will they cause problems if I put them on as is or do I need to buy spacers to reduce the offset?

I don't think you can run a staggered setup for 17s on a XI.

You should have really asked this question before you bought the wheels .

Use the calculator at the top of this forum to check. There are more things to look at besides just the offset, plus you have an X-drive.
