I have a 2009 E90. Today i was trying to reinitialize the sunroof so i held the button in the tilt position for 15 to 20 seconds and heared a click. When trying to press the button in the full open position, i noticed that the power (one touch) functiin is mot working but thought this was normal until the roof made it to the middle of the way and then stopped working and I got an anti-trap function error on iDrive.

I tried to repeat the process several times but always the same issue.

Holding the button in the tilt position doesn't make the click sound any more.

I'm pretty sure that there's no obstacle in the sunroof way.


Any fix for that?

Hello,

Seems I was pressing the button in the wrong way.

Pressing the button up solved it and went through the whole reintialze process and it's working fine now.
