less chrome

Does anyone know if it's possible to change the chrome on the side vents in the front fenders to matte black? or if anyone makes a matte black one? I hate chrome, and just ordered the matte black grilles.

I couldn't find it again, but there was someone who removed them and blacked out the side markers. It looked pretty slick.

I'll keep looking and update the post if I can find it. It may have been over on the e90 forums.

Jlevisw is coming out with this part in matte black. I will get one ASAP. The only chrome on the car is this and the kidney grilles, hence they look out of place IMHO.

Hey Steve, I am for sure doing Matt Black front and Side grills on my new M3
and I was wondering if you have any Close-up Pics of the Side Vents?
I looked at the Pics in the Link above but would like to see them up close!

If you have any close up pics, that would be great.

Thanks

-Jack

P.S. Your M3 Looks SICk!

I'm also curious to see how it looks, last minute decision yesterday when I was talking to my friend at his autobody shop. figured it'll be different than the other M3s so I'd give it a shot. I'm going to pick it up in a couple hours can't wait.

great ideas here! We actually have a carbon fiber version in the works. It is wrapped over the OEM piece, so fitment and quality is absolutely perfect

Dude, smoked orange reflectors just might be the way to go for the M on darker colors.
